What started as a speculative invitation nearly a year prior turned into a fun, spontaneous session in the heart of London. I originally reached out to electric violinist Mia Asano to invite her to be part of my "5-Minute Coffee and a portrait” series. To my delight, she agreed immediately, timing the shoot with her European tour alongside Sabaton and the Legendary Orchestra.

We met just hours before her performance at the O2 Arena. As is the tradition with my documentary-style sessions, nothing was rehearsed and no questions were shared in advance. In the world of professional music photography, there is often a pressure to perform, but Mia stepped into the "5-Minute Coffee" format with total transparency.
